The Nokia Lumia Revival HMD Skyline phone will come with a traditional design.

There are rumours circulating regarding a phone from HMD, the firm that created the Nokia smartphone line. With its feature set and intended price range, its forthcoming phone, codenamed Tomcat and now

reportedly presented as the HMD Skyline, is creating buzz. With top-tier specifications, the Skyline phone is expected to compete in the mid-range and launch in July. Priced at 520 euros (565 US dollars), according to leaks, it will cost more than the HMD services that are offered now. Its specifications include 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM, but perhaps more significantly, the leaks reveal a visual aesthetic that is heavily inspired by Nokia's Lumia series. The phones' colourful bodies and sharp corners bring back memories of Nokia's Windows smartphone era.

The display is rumoured to be premium, with an FHD+ OLED touchscreen offering a crisp 120Hz refresh rate. The device will likely be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, a chip capable of doing regular work or even some gaming. Camera enthusiasts can get a triple-lens setup on the back to play with, which is rumoured to include a 108MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor (possibly) and a 2MP macro or depth sensor. Selfies can be handled by the 32 MP front camera.

The phone is expected to pack a 4,900 mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. Durability is also addressed through IP67 certification for dust and water resistance. The Skyline is also said to run the latest Android 14 out-of-the-box and will have an under-display fingerprint sensor for security. Stereo speakers are present throughout the case to provide an immersive entertainment experience.

While HMD hasn't officially released any images, these blurry leaks are proof that Nokia's logo language is alive and well. The company's Lumia series captured the hearts of many during Nokia's heyday, and although Satya Nadella (who shut down Nokia's mobile division) said the Windows

the smartphone was a mistake, the attractive design language was not in reality. The Skyline will reportedly be available in four gorgeous colors - purple, blue, green and yellow. Its sub-$600 price tag and amazing specs make it perfect for anyone with nostalgia fever.
